It was a great day

Sylivia's words, "Moms and children ate like it's their last days on earth...The meal was yummy.Their heart was full of thanks and gratefulness!" "I heard One of the mom tell her children to eat a lot of food because the next day they're not having a chance to eat nice food like what they just ate at the Mops feast... Later the husband walked in sneaking thinking nobody recognized him..one of the leaders walked next to the mom and told her it's okay you don't need to feel bad or sneaking with the food to the husband... Today the LORD has served us...Tell your husband to come join us..The Feast has been a miracle to the group." Once a month we would like to sponsor a meal for the teen MOPS group in Kampala. We have the 5 women that have already started school serve the 15 women that wait for their opportunity to go to school. This teaches the first group to learn to serve. And it helps the others to wait with a good heart & hope. The average women makes only 1 dollar a day. You can imagine how much a real feast means to them. And it binds the group into a close community. And to be honest, this is important. They need eachother. It cannot be every man for himself. They must work together so each one can rise. The 5 women that go to school cooked the meal and served it, and even did the dishes. Their attitude was wonderful. And when Paullah walked in with her new son Philip Sylivia said they all broke out in cheers. This is an extreme change of attitude. When Paullah first came with her need fear over took the group. I’m afraid they worried that their chances would be destroyed if we paid for Paullahs C section. You can hardly blame them. The needs are so great, and resources so few. But we continue to receive donations. And nearly half of next quarter’s school fees are provided. I’m trusting God to bring what we need.
