Keeping girls in school

In Kampala Uganda, the people often make 1 dollar a day. But sanitary pads cost $1.10 for a package of 10. As many as 30% of the girls are dropping out of school because they have no money for pads. But the women in our MOPS group in Kampala will now be learning how to sew cloth pads that are washable and reusable. We will begin by just making enough pads for the 20 women in the group. But then they will find a school they can sew pads for. We need donations for this project. If you are interested in supporting this or any of our other projects in Kampala the pay pal link is on the right.
