Christmas happen earlier for the moms, their children, and children outside MOPS community

In Uganda, we celebrate Christmas by attending a church service. The moms have never had a special diet like what we have had today in the way of remembering the birth of KING JESUS or having an attire on such a day. In Uganda, moderate families have rice, bananas, beef, chicken, sodas on Christmas and also decorate a house with simple flowers and balloons. This year MOPS has found a solution by making Christmas happen earlier for the moms, their children, and children outside MOPS community by hosting a MOPS Christmas party. Moms have been up and down organizing the party, cooking, decorating, serving and eating together as a family. And finally, the Christmas party ending with a joy in each and everyone's face.. This has been provided by the generosity of the ones who gave.   On this day the Archbishop of Uganda came by and he was amused by what's going on at the parish...Priests were also blessed with food and gifts from MOPS... This act of kindness meant a lot to the church of Christ... Everyone ate like tomorrow will never come...MOPS meetings are resuming on 8th January 2018 with two days leadership training
