The process to become an NGO is continuing. They need the signature of 5 different councilmen. They have a site inspection on Wednesday, January 17. At this meeting, they will look at the workshop and examine the financial books. Sylvia said they will eventually get a one year license. During this period they will be spied on, and their phones will be tapped. All this to be sure they are doing what they say they are doing. And they must have an operating budget and a work plan with goals. But we have nothing to hide. We do not have enough money to reach our goals. But TeenMOPS has exceeded our expectations.
On Wednesday they also move into the new soap making workshop. They are all ready to begin producing soap for retail sales. They will make nice bath bars and laundry soap.
