Please pray for rain

Sylvia asked us to please pray for rain.  Uganda needs food aid urgently after a drought is killing crops, drying wells and killing animals. In the countryside, the witch doctors are sacrificing children.  It is hard to imagine stuff like that still happens.  But sadly it does.

At the sewing workshop, they are using the reward chart to encourage mothers to feed their babies.  And they made it a competition to see who does the best job.  The young girl who was doing so badly actually won breastfeeding mother of the week.  So I guess it is safe to say the charts are working.  At least for now.   The real winner will be the children.  Thank you for your prayers.
