Juergen and Nicole in Uganda

It's Friday and I am asking you to pray for Suubi Teen MOPS in Uganda.
Love and joy are a catalyst that fuels change.
This week Juergen and Nicole are in Uganda. Unfortunately, they both got the flu. The airplane was very full. Many people were coughing. For a huge part of the week, they have been sick. Nicole has especially been out of commission. But one thing that comes to mind is the word catalyst. A person can do only some of the work to start a change. We have seen there are people who have the skills to do the job. They simply lacked direction and resources. Bryon, who is the cousin of Sylvia has finished the tile without Juergen. He has been a real hero this week. Sylvia is able to paint. Nicole could tell them how to build the mandala gardens. But they don't need her to build them. Juergen could tell the builder how he wished certain things to be finished. And he could provide the money to have them finished. I am sad that Nicole and Juergen are sick. I am frustrated about this. But I realize progress has happened. Before they leave, the cabinets in the kitchen will be finished. The floor and walls are finished. And there will be plans to finish a great deal more. What is especially important is they were there. They honored the people with their love and support. And they are there until the middle of next week. I am certain more will get done. There will be an exchange of ideas. There will be information to bring back to Germany. When we plan we do it with firsthand knowledge.
Please pray that they fully recover from the flu.
Pray for the grace to finish the tile and paint.

Pray for the water survey to happen. Juergen really wanted to see their survey for the well.
Continue to pray for safety and health.
Pray that Lilly Avenue stores sell a lot.
The Christmas party is on Monday. Pray that the people at the center feel really loved. And pray we can receive more resources to fill backpacks for the kids in Kampala.
