Day 10

Truth-  Do you laugh or frown more.  When is the last time you really lost track of time?
Dare-  Spend one hour doing something that makes you feel alive.  Hire a babysitter if you need to.  This is important.

I'm going to answer the question and do the dare.  I would like to say I laugh more than frown.  But I'm not sure that is true.  I think I've frowned a lot over the past two years.  I'm trying to turn that around.  That is the truth.
I hope to just forget myself  in the garden today pulling weeds.  I know that isn't something you would normally consider making a person feel alive. , But the hard work and the sunshine do it for me.  And I will feel better when I clear the front flower borders from all the weeds.  Yesterday I listened to a new book, "The Search for Significance" by Robert McGee.  It has given me a great deal to think about.  Pulling weeds gives you a great deal of time to reflect . The question is do you chase success or significance?  Success will never satisfy you.  And do you get your significance  from what you do, or from who you know?  Our significance should come from God.
