I love this idea. I just ordered 3000 coffee filters to wrap soap in. I will wrap it in unbleached coffee filters, label it and put the soap in a hand-sewn African bag. The bags are being made in Uganda by our sewing group. The soaps will be 2 types of vegan soap. An orange camomile tea soap, and a lemon soap (veg oil, coconut oil, and olive oil). And two types of lard soap. An oatmeal and honey soap, and a lavender soap. I need groups or individuals willing to sell the soap. The profits go to the Suubi Teen MOPS group to start a hairdressing school for extremely low-income women. I can ship the soap in 300 bar batches. We pay for shipping and the soap worldwide by DHL. We need 48 individuals or groups to partner with us over the next 12 months. It takes 4 weeks to ship the soap. If you are interested in say Mothers Day...you should talk to me now. We need time to process the soap and ship it. This would be a great service project for a MOPS group or youth group. Suubi Teen MOPS is now a NGO (Non-governmental organization).
